The Robie’s story began in 1953 when Robert “Robie” Russo and his wife Joyce opened a small store in Abbeville, Louisiana. Robie had a simple philosophy: “Sell quality products at a value while providing the best personal service available.” A second location was opened in Jeanerette, Louisiana six years later, in 1959. Then, in 1976, Robie's sons, Bobby and Jim joined him in the business, which is now in its 60th year of operation.
